We’re constantly adding new features to Hosted Graphite, and improving existing ones. Here’s just a few updates we’ve made recently:
AWS CloudWatch: more services supported
Amazon CloudWatch gives you an integrated view of what your cloud services are doing. Adding Hosted Graphite gives you a real-time interactive view of these services with the ability to send high-volume custom metrics, see useful automated dashboards, and send annotations of important events. Now, our AWS CloudWatch integration also supports Elastic MapReduce (EMR) and Amazon EC2 Container Service Metrics (ECS):
Elastic MapReduce (EMR)
It’s now possible to use Hosted Graphite to monitor how your cluster is performing with EMR. EMR is a scalable, cloud-based version of Hadoop that lets you launch and manage Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances quickly and easily. Additionally, EMR allows you to easily transform and move data into and out of other AWS data stores and databases (i.e. Amazon S3 and Amazon DynamoDB). Now you can monitor your EMR jobs and cluster health straight from your Hosted Graphite account.

Amazon EC2 Container Service Metrics (ECS)
We’ve added ECS metrics to the AWS integration for Hosted Graphite too. That means you can monitor CPU and memory reservation for use over your whole cluster. It also makes it possible to monitor the CPU and memory use on the services within your clusters, all on interactive Hosted Graphite dashboards.

If you’re already a Hosted Graphite customer, you can start monitoring your Amazon Services immediately. Read more about monitoring your AWS services or view the getting started guide.
Account diagnostics: page update
Your account diagnostics page now features a graph showing the number of metrics created over the lifetime of your account. This gives you more visibility over how your account is growing and might prevent excessive use down the line.
Full control of syncing your Logentries data to Hosted Graphite dashboards with Leexportpy
Leexportpy, the Logentries Log Export app synchronizes your data with Hosted Graphite, straight out of the box. This lets you view your Logentries data on graphs and dashboards in Hosted Graphite, define alerts to notify you over email, Slack, HipChat, PagerDuty, and more. Read the adding a new service guide to find out more.
If you’re already using Hosted Graphite, you have immediate access to these new features. Otherwise, you can sign up for a free trial to get started. We have lots more features and updates in the works. Stay tuned!
